Betta Brownorum - Sibu | Wild Betta Fish
Betta Brownorum - Sibu | Wild Betta Fish
Wild caught Betta Brownorum from Sibu
From the Betta Coccina Complex.
Male of this species has an intense red with a green iridescent spot on the body and longer anal fins while females have shorter finnage and less intense coloration. The difference we noticed with this location is that a few have a much larger spot than other brownorum locations we've encountered. Absolutely beautiful. Spot size varies but I'm sure there can be some in their offsprings.
IUCN Red List: Vulnerable (Threatened and facing a high risk of extinction in the wild)
