Please pay attention to YOUR weather
When fall and winter rolls around the corner, the temperatures will drop and make it a bad experience for everyone and worst for the fishes. Is is your responsibility to check your weather and let us know of any extreme weather. We will also try to check the weather on our end to be safe. Heat packs will be added if your temperatures fall below 60. If your weather is above 90s, we recommend waiting until your weather drops and make sure to select UPS Overnight shipping. Choosing to pick up at a UPS store during bad weather is also a good idea. Please let us know if you want to choose that option which you can also request yourself with the tracking number.
We reserve the right to postpone shipments if we feel that the weather is not good for shipping. Usually over 90F or below 30F. The well being of the fish is very important to us. You may request a refund if you do not want to wait.

Shipping policy for UPS Next Day Air
UPS next day air is generally a flat rate (up to 10lbs, which is a lot of fish) and it is a GREAT choice if you’re ordering a large amount of fish or fish that is sensitive to temperature and water quality. For anything more than 10lbs, please contact us for an accurate shipping cost. UPS next day air has a Live Arrival Guarantee Policy. Please read our Terms of Service. We will replace the fish AND pay for the replacement shipping.
The Biggest Difference between Our Next Day, and Anything Else.
We choose our next day to arrive before 10am-12pm. For the others, it is random depending on the route, so if your weather is a bit cold or a bit hot, it is sitting in that truck all day!
Shipping time
We prefer to ship on Monday and Tuesday to avoid any hold ups and allow ample time for delayed packages. Please give us at least one(1) day before packaging and shipping out any products. For UPS next day air, we are flexible up until Wednesday, if requested.
The best time to order would be by end of day Saturday as we can organize and ship them out early Monday. Feel free to message us to discuss a preferable shipment date for you.
Note, at times we may be on vacation so your order may be delayed another week but we'll try to keep you all informed.
Hawaii Shipping Information
There are special rules and regulations to ship to Hawaii. They generally require a the buyer to own a permit to import animals and fish. Make sure you have your permit and make sure you follow their guidelines for importing fish. Feel free to send us a message if you have any questions. You can find out more information at the link below. We will not guarantee your package if it gets rejected because you do not have a permit.
