From the Betta Splendens Complex.

IUCN Red List: N/A

Selectively bred for larger body, fins and webbing pattern

Smaragdina guitar are a hardy "splendens" type fish originating from northeastern Thailand. They are generally very hardy compare to other splenden type and can tolerate lower temperature. Betta smaragdina guitar are known from the "snake like" facial scaling and spider web pattern on their caudal fins. These are the wild type coloration with metallic green, though smaragdinas in general tend to have higher metallic so their color shimmer differently than other splendens. These are line bred to have larger body and finnage that showcase a strong spider web pattern.

NOTE: for ebay buyers, yes you can combine fish for shipping and other shipping options are available. Please PM us for more information
