Oryzias Woworae (Daisy Ricefish)

Beautiful fish from Sulawesi that is perfect for those looking to add colors to a small aquarium. They have a nice blue metallic shine in the light with a red accent on the body edges.  Males typically have a translucent bluish body, while females and juveniles are more yellow. They are schooling fish, so it's recommended to keep them in groups of at least 6 or more. They are also known to jump, so a secure lid is a must for your aquarium.

ALL of our fish go through 2 or more weeks of quarantine before being sold. Quarantine period consist of medication to remove parasites such as velvet and ich.

Water Parameters: Prefers slightly acidic to neutral water (pH 6.0-7.5) However we keep them in tap water with high TDS and PH.

Temperatures between 73-80 degrees Fahrenheit

Diet: Omnivore (eats flakes, brine shrimp, bloodworms, and mosquito larvae)

Lifespan: 2-3 years
