Highly Cured Indian Almond Leaves

These are high-quality Indian almond leaves that release much more natural tannins than lower-quality leaves.  These leaves went through a process to break down the chemicals inside such that more tannins and acid are made. 

Tannins and various organic acids released from the leaves can reduce the PH of the water and reduce toxicity from ammonia.  Tannins also stain the water reddish-brown bringing out the colors of many wild bettas.
