Wild Caught Betta Unimaculata from Sangkima
A mouth brooding type of betta belonging to the unimaculata complex. Physically it is very similar to palifina. Compare to other unimaculata, its body is slender and long but overall much smaller. Has iridescent on the flanks as well as the cheeks. Iridescent are blue to teal (depending on the lighting). Males and females have colorful blue teal fins with metallic copper coating. All wild caught fish go through a quarantine process for a month to ensure they are free of disease. These fish make great species only tank and a good fish for beginners getting into mouth brooders.
