Betta Splendens Complex.
IUCN Red List: N/A - Hybrid species
This betta can be found in various areas of asia, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
These are Copper Betta Imbellis from a breeder from Vietnam. All males come from the same lineage and are generally similar. Colors can depend on the stress of the fish and the lighting.
These fishes are sometimes hybridized with other species to bring out better colors and finnage. They are aggressive by nature and males should be kept alone unless you are breeding them.
Temperament: Males are VERY aggressive and should be kept alone or in tanks with non-male betta mates. Can be kept in a planted community tank of multiple females if there is adequate space.
