From the Betta Coccina Complex.
New undescribed Burdigala type species
Resembles the Burdigala but with a small blue to blue green spot in the mid flank of the body. Compare to Burdigala and Uberis it has a much larger and elongated body with somewhat shorter finnage, can be considered stoute. Sp. Makuatic like Uberis and Burdigala have very wide and broad unpair fins compared to other coccina types as well as large amount of iridescence spread on its flank. Like other coccina types, they are cave spawners creating bubble nest under floating caves, they can also make bubble nest similar to that of splendens.
Not much is known so observation is necessary

Temperament: Moderately aggressive, males can be territorial when establishing breeding grounds. However, because of their small size, you can keep multiples pairs as long as you have enough space. Recommended 1 pair per 5 gal.

Diet: Carnivorous, we currently feed them live blackworms, frozen bloodworms and pellets.
